Romans 8:1-2 "There is therefore no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus, who do not walk according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit. For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus has made me free from the law of sin and death."
Unbelieving, every step of life retains the character it started with--complete and eternal separation for God, the Creator. Believing, every step is transformational toward God. Either you walk in the Spirit or the flesh (2 Corinthians 3:17-18). In transformation, the old self of sin is being crucified, having lost its power over you. Your crucifixion is not the process of ceasing to exist, but the dying off of all the parts of you that are inconsistent with eternal life and fellowship with God. While those parts die, the transformation begins toward real life-not the life of flesh and earth that ends in eternal separation.
Jesus Christ lived so that Deborah would die to herself.
Jesus Christ died so that Deborah would live unto Him.
