The peace of Christ is with His people at all times and in all ways. (Isaiah 54:10, 2 Corinthians 3:21b-23)
the felt experience of Christ's peace often eludes His followers. (Romans 8:6)
the felt experience of Christ's peace increases as self-will decreases. (John 3:3)
True peace does not increase by adding something but by yielding self-will. Plans, ways, and times of life contain many opportunities to increase "peace always, in all ways" by yielding self-will.
Plans: When a plan fails or doesn't succeed, unpeace rises. God says have a plan, but in the same breath He says that He will direct the steps (Proverbs 16:9). Yield to His steps.
Ways: Along a particular way that God has led, it is possible (even probable) to encounter many dangers and difficulties, and unpeace rises. Yield to His way.
Times: God's timing is perfect but often elongated and seemingly pointless to the preferred timing, so unpeace rises. Yield to His perfect timing.
Christ's peace is never missing but self-will is often dominating, so every unpeaceful moment is an opportunity to yield.
