Psalm 62:5 "My soul, wait thou only on God, for my expectation is from Him."
WAIT:
No one has perfect patience while waiting on God's time and way, though by Grace, some reach a state of composure like that of the ocean responding to a light wind - with ripples rather than crashing waves.
ONLY:
No one waits only on God. David like everyone else, tried to make his own way.
EXPECTATION:
Personal expectations must be relinquished while God's design is embraced. God's design is never incorrect, but just like David in Psalm 62, personal expectations often need adjustment to the will of God.
David spoke to his soul, instructing it to let go of personal expectations and wait only on God because He was learning the art of the Holy Dance.
"God moves me in a holy dance, according to my circumstance".
