"And now these three remain: faith, hope and love. But the greatest of these is love."
(1 Corinthians 13:13)
The faith of Jesus demonstrates oneness with the will of God, His hope complete assurance of its accomplishment, and His love the active principle in His work. As a unified whole, only Christ's faith, hope, and love, with the salvific results, will remain. Everything other than that will either enter eternity in the torment of eternal separation from God, or be burned up (2 Peter 3:10-13). The earth, the heavens, and the people of God will be re-created, re-formed, and resurrected as a result of the faith, hope and love of Jesus Christ.
Our faith will be perfected and carried into eternity as sight and unbelief will disappear; hope will find ultimate fulfillment of promise and fears no longer exist; and love will become the perfect fellowship of adoption in God's family while hatred will be no more. By faith Jesus is received, hope reaches toward Him, and love grows and transforms toward His likeness.
Faith, hope, and love are being perfected, even now, when unbelief, fear, and hatred are intentionally being released.
