Read Psalm 49
'Wisdom' grown on intellect's tree,
lacks Power from above.
Assailed at death by just desserts,
away the tree soon withers.
Give an ear to God in His Word,
where Truth doth high excel.
Ignorance at death's tribunal,
Won't help for an aquittal.
Direct some thoughts to higher life,
Though walking down below.
The soul in Faith redeemed by grace,
Homeward flies to Christ above.
